Some reductions in down times during the end splicing/cop changing cycle and the cycle repetition are achieved by means of control of each single function, thereby observably improve the winding efficiency.

There is not any correlative kinematic motion between the three functions, so if one of the two suction nozzles fails to hold the yarn, it must repeat its cycle, meanwhile the other waits holding the yarn. The cycle is completed with the splice only when both nozzles have brought the two ends of yarn into the proper position.
